| For Young Mums | The Day Centre is a place where you can meet and talk to other women in a friendly environment.
You can be involved in groups that are a part of each school term's programme. We aim to offer groups that cater for your interests and needs.
While you are here we offer:
- Art/craft, toy-making and play ideas
- Information about child development and parenting
- The Day Centre staff are able to link young women to the other services and agencies provided at Louise Place and in the wider community
| | For Your Baby |
- Child minding is available whenever the Day Centre is open, as long as you are on the premises at the time.
- When you are linked in with Louise Place or the High School there is a Toy Library available.
- A Streetlink nurse attends the centre on a fortnightly basis to attend to the needs of both mother and baby.
- Your child's carer will aim to provide activities for your child that will enhance their development in all areas of physical, cognitive, social and emotional development.
